Creating the website is just one part of bringing it to life.
There are three pieces you'll need to make it all work:
Registering a domain basically "hangs your shingle" on the Internet.
Its main purpose is to let the Internet know where to direct domain traffic, such as web page requests and emails related to your domain name.
The domain name is pointed to the server that hosts your website.
Your website files and programs are stored there, and the server performs the appropriate actions to deliver emails, web pages, etc.
Your website consists of one to possibly thousands of files, and can include programs, html, documents, text, images, scripts, and more.
All files must reside on a hosted server to be available to the Internet.
Designing a website right means more than just putting information on some web pages and expecting something to happen. We feel it's important to develop an overall strategy then build the website around it.
What do you want to accomplish? What are your customers looking for, and how will they find you? What do you want your website visitors TO DO?
We'll help walk you through a step-by-step process targeted toward accomplishing your goals. Once we have a plan, we'll build the core website, then work with you to develop a design (look, feel, colors, fonts, arrangement) that fits your brand image.
